Hi,

I’m Andrew

Attorney Andrew Mateskon

I came to estate planning, probate, and real estate law the way many people do — through personal experience. Watching my own family navigate these moments taught me how much it matters to have someone in your corner who actually explains what's going on, who treats you like a person and not a case number.

That's the kind of lawyer I set out to be.

For 6 years, I've helped individuals and families plan for the future, settle estates, and handle real estate matters with confidence. What I hear most from clients is that I make the law feel approachable — no jargon, no rushing, no making you feel silly for asking questions. I'm patient with my time because I believe people deserve real clarity.

At the heart of my practice are three values: legacy, clarity, and dignity. I believe every person — regardless of the size of their estate or the complexity of their situation — deserves to be treated with respect and to understand exactly where they stand.

I also believe deeply in practicing law ethically. As Justice Potter Stewart once said:

"Ethics is the difference between what you have a right to do, and what is right to do."

That distinction guides every client interaction and every decision I make on your behalf. Planning for the future isn't just a legal task. It is instead one of the most meaningful things you can do for the people you love, and it deserves to be handled with integrity.

If you're ready to take that step, I'd love to talk.

When I’m not working on protecting your family, you can find me playing with my family on the beach, skiing with them at one of Michigan’s great little resorts, or riding bikes together on the trails.
